About Us
The Eastern Pediatric Surgery Network (EPSN) was established in 2019 by academic pediatric surgeons interested in collaborative clinical research while breaking down single institution research silos that have long dominated our field. Our mission is simple: to conduct innovative, multi-institutional research studies that will establish best practices and improve clinical outcomes in children requiring surgical care. Today, our membership includes 22 outstanding children’s hospitals throughout in the eastern United States. Expertise, size, and diversity are our greatest assets.
